Midterms Will Be The Death Of Me!

All of this week I'll be off of school only to be swamped with making study notes,
studying for the remainder of my midterms, doing assignments and working 5/7 days...
This will, hands down, be the most boring week of my life. Do not hate me for
not being able to do daily posts, as I will have minimal time and nothing very interesting
to post.. Wish me luck on this week from hell! xoxo

I curled my hair for the very first time (I'm quite challenged when it comes to the art of the
curling iron.....no joke) and I'm very pleased with the results! :)

I Want To Fall Into You

Being that we're in Fall, I thought it was appropriate to compile a collage of pieces that I like best. Fall is all about being comfy, cozy, and most importantly, fashionable. I personally couldn't wait to slip into my boyfriend jeans, layer my shirts, throw on a chunky, coloured knit and finish the outfit off with a pair of moccassins.

Since Fall tends to be cool and often very windy, it is smart to dress according to the weather without losing your sense of style. I believe it is crucial to invest in the following items:

1. A boyfriend style plaid button up
2. A faux leather jacket
3. A trendy yet versitile blazer
4. Chunky knits
5. Dark denim jeans
6. An abundance of long sleeve shirts
7. Rustic ankle boots
8. A handbag (think neutrals, browns and blacks)
9. Scarves, scarves and more scarves
10. Dressier pieces like a high-waisted skirt or sparkle tights

Birthday Dress Dilemma

My 19th birthday is fast approaching and I have yet to go out and search for the perfect dress. Selecting the right dress for an event is tricky enough, let alone for your very own birthday. Personally, I want all eyes on me on my special day. I have a few ideas floating around in my head regarding what my fabulous outfit for the evening will look like and I thought I would share them with all of you.

To New Beginnings

Hi darling readers,
I've made the decision to start running a new blog (link to my other blog - http://www.laurenribeiro.tumblr.com/) that is more personal and frequently updated. My other blog has been an outlet for posting pictures I found inspirational and/or interesting as well as vent about the issues in my life. I've been running that blog for a while now and I have many loyal followers, but I decided it was time to take another route. The Lauren Diaries will revolve around a variety of things, such as: daily activities/tasks, weekend plans, to-do lists, how to's, fashion and advice, just to name a few.
